Master of Ceremonies Seminar
A master of ceremonies is not merely a "page-turning acolyte". As described in the Caeremoniale Episcoporum, he must have well-rounded knowledge of liturgical matters, and thereby a level of expertise that exceeds the average Catholic layman.
To fulfill this expectation, Louis Tofari offers an MC Seminar also affectionately known by its veterans as the "MC Boot Camp" (read some testimonies). Below is an outline of the courses that Mr. Tofari presents during his unique and comprehensive training program for MCs.
Mr. Tofari's presentations are accompanied by training materials, audio-visual media, actual liturgical objects used, and practicums. The training materials include the Compendium for Master of Ceremonies and The General Principles of Ceremonies of the Roman Rite.
In connection with the particular sanctification that a layman can derive from exercising the office of MC, special emphasis is also given to appointed periods of prayer and visits with the Blessed Sacrament.
It should also be noted that the courses of the MC Seminar can be customized according to the needs or schedule limitations. The fee of the MC Seminar also includes 10 hours of follow-up consultation.
